Awaken Coffee, Oakland California
In the heart of inner Oakland, sprawling with cafes, international cuisines, and a dynamic twist of old Cathedrals and hipster outings, you won’t find something to not like. As I bustle around observing the local life as a newly founded resident I Stumbled upon Awaken Cafe where the Service was very polite, and seemed to be an inclusive quiet environment. As I received my plate I was esthetic to try the Pecan Pie latte and Popular Bay Area pastry the morning bun. The Pecan pie latte was mild in sweetness yet seasoned inextricably well to give you a sensation of fall. A way to wake up in the morning as a grabbed my pastry and dipped it into my latte. The creaminess of the latte and the crusted exterior of the morning bun was a great combination as the inner bread soaked up the coffee. The morning bun has a fruity flavored glazed interior which gets sweeter the more to the bottom you get. I was Pleasantly surprised and recommend any resident in the State to give this cafe a try.
