The scent comes from your family’s oven. It becomes an indulgent treat when placed in the pantry. There are many flavors and scents derived from it. Blueberry muffins are a classic in any household!

what better way then to spark up the presentation with a a blueberry concocted syrup swirl. Omg a dream which adds to the flavor and texture of the traditional muffin. In this recipe I will showcase how to produce them!

Equipment needed-

Muffin Tins

Thin pointed End- I used my thermometer for this.

Ingredients and their use

Blueberries are the main ingredient in our muffins. The flavor is dispersed from the blended mix to the batter itself. It is rounded out with whole blueberries incorporated into the muffins.

Muffin mix- any muffin mix works perfect for this recipe! its all about that dazzling technique for the blueberry swirl muffins we are looking for!

Water- for the batter itself and the blended mix

Granulated Sugar- needed for the tinge of sweetness to the mix and to allow the blueberries to saturated in it

Vanilla Extract- Always a necessity for most pastries!

Poppyseed- Its is not required but I love the extra texture it adds to the muffins

Blueberry Blended mix!

For the blended mix it’s relatively simple. with only four ingredients needed. Sugar, water, blueberries, and vanilla extract. This definitely can be prepared in advance. It would be preferred as the blueberries can saturate in the sugar and the flavor can advance.

Step by step

-Add Blueberries to blender

-Process till finely blended

-slowly incorporate a little bit of water until juice like

-add your sugar and vanilla extract

-set aside

The Batter– as I mentioned this recipe works for any traditional muffin mix from the market. The key for the batter is to add some of the blueberry mix into it! It enhances the flavor and rounds it out!

The Blueberry swirl

Once you have made your batter, use butter spray for the tins.

Make room for the Blueberry Muffin Swirl. Add batter halfway to muffin mix

Add blueberry Blended mix on top of batter

Using a pointed end Swirl the mix around the batter in a spiral form

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and you are good to go!

For the Batter

– Muffin mix- I used Krusteaz Professional Blueberry Muffin Mix, 5 Pound
-Blueberries- 2 Small Cases
-Water (5 cups)

for Blueberry Blended mix

– Granulated sugar (2 cups)
– Vanilla extract (1 TBSP
-Butter spray
– 2 small cases of the blueberries
-water- (1/2 cup)














Assemble ingredients
-Use 2 cases of blueberries and add to blender
-Blend and slowly incorporate water
– once water is added
-Add batter to bowl
-add water to bowl and whisk
– set aside

– add blueberries to blender
-slowly add water through process
– add your sugar and vanilla extract
-set aside

To Create the muffins
– spray your muffin tins
– add batter to muffin tins
– add a small amount of blueberry muffin swirl to mix
-Using a thin point, make a swirl with the mix
-Place in oven at 350 for 30 minutes, Check periodically- but once the peak is light brown they should be ready
