Divine Carrot Cake

Hey everyone it’s Andres, Recently me and a friend went to this cute cafe located in a small town called Berkeley near san Francisco called Baker & Commons. Honestly this is such a good getaway place for brunch with many local activities to do and attractions to see.

Tucked away right around the corner this cute cafe had such a vintage old European style appeal with little retro stools right in front of the expresso machine and tight table seating with outdoor booths available as well. The menu mainly consisted of classical Americana Food such as omelettes, eggs Benedict, and pancakes, waffles etc.. What really caught my attraction was the pastries right around the entrance for everyone to catch any eye for. They looked absolutely gorgeous and you can tell they were made with tedious efforts.

Carrot cake is one of my favorite desserts I love one that has a dense frosting and a little crunchy coating on the exterior as this one did justice for. the Carrot Cake at Baker & Commons from its presentation was delightful, coated with crumbled pecans, and layered with three coating of cream it was to die for. The cake was moist and had hints of candied carrot and bites of almond on the interior. The cost for a slice was merely 7 dollars. I give this place a recommendation.
