There are many things to do around Lake Merritt. It offers people the chance to see Oakland’s splendor and natural scenery. As I am walking on Bellevue street. I stumbled upon this cute brunch cafe that had a very vintage San Francisco appeal. in its porcelain chairs and marbled tiles with crimson coded umbrellas on the outside. I had to check it out. Lynn & Escapade offers breakfast and Brunch options that are guaranteed to impress your eyes with its sought out presentation.

From the Selection I was craving something savory and filling so I picked out the egg Benedict potato pancake dish. To my surprise, the dish arrived with a splendid glazed hollandaise sauce. It was poured over a poached egg and a crispy, perfectly fried batch of two potatoes. The side was a house salad. An Italian vinaigrette dressing accompanied it. The acidity of the dressing balanced the profile of the dish well. The yolk of the egg combined well with the pancake. The creaminess of the hollandaise sauce added to the blend. It absorbed each individual flavor. From what I have gathered Lynns and Los cafe deserves another visit!
