A luminous pink food truck called Avocado Toasty is healthy. It is tucked away in an urban food vendor canopy near Lake Merit. Avocado Toasty caters to sustainability and plant-based diets and offers its signature avocado toast. they also feature a Latino-owned business.
The menu is quite diverse. Avocado Toasty features Latin American, Americana, and Oriental options. They are served on top of the ubiquitous Bay Area sourdough bread. I personally think the spot the area is in is very niche. Underneath a shaded canopy with benches surrounded by garden plans and other new vendors, Avocado Toast is truly unique here.
I order The Mexican Elote Avocado toast. The Presentation was divine and the corn was well seasoned with a smoky hint to it. The addition of lime added a nice citric element to an all around savory dish at Avocado Toasty.

I totally consider you checking the place out if you are local. There are plenty of other niche places to check out in the vicinity. Especially noteworthy is Lake Merritt, which has nice hiking trails and the Oakland sanctuary garden. Don’t miss Avocado Toast if you visit, one of the local highlights.
