Hey Yall welcome to my blogs where I Give insight on recipes or local food places to go to. On the outskirts of downtown Oakland is Piedmont avenue. A street with a variety of options to choose from. it’s definitely hipster paradise. you can check out local breweries, small owned business stores and nifty cafes.
I made a visit to Nuas Thai kitchen cafe. It is a family-owned restaurant with a great variety of foods to choose from. Healthy, thought out and well plated. Nuas Cafe boosted a well themed interior with a trademarked logo and lush vegetation on the inside with wooden tables.
Their menu offers many choices. It ranges from salad to traditional curries and beef plates. I ordered their Thai shrimp and green bean salad. which features crispy red and ribboned green beans, mixed greens. red onions. toasted coconut flakes, crispy shallots, tossed in a chili jam vinaigrette.
Oh my gosh, this plate was phenomenal from how it was prepared to the balance of flavors. I really love Thai cuisine for its sweet, spicy and tropical elements, and this dish brought fourth all together! This dish is definitely for someone who prefers a crunchy texture but also low in calorie and pescatarian friendly.
